We’ve been customers at the main branch on Hwy 291 in Lee’s Summit for many years and have always appreciated the friendly service inside. This last visit was no exception. Andrea Farmer, Assistant Manager, helped me access my safety deposit box and then was quick to offer to email an additional document needed for an upcoming transaction. Thank you Andrea!

I would NOT recommend this bank. I have had auto pay since I took out a loan for an auto. I have been trying to change my bank for a month. My old bank is still listed. I had to jump through hoops (deposit made then withdrawn ...thencall back) to link my account. Then, although my old bank is still linked...I got a late fee. Unbelievable!!! Plus talk about bankers hours....I can only call between 9-4. Well that is difficult when one is a teacher or a physician. This bank is NOT customer friendly.

Recently with losing a debit card getting applied for a secure credit card and all other needs had been met by Andrea Farmer. She’s very kind and has a trusting and friendly smile. I know I’ll be taken good care of every time I come to the bank and see her there

Went to the bank today been banking there 5 years need to talk
To a lady she was busy with another customer so instead of asking me to sit down she points and I say what she tells me go sit down instead of asking me out it's like damn lady I'm not your kid I don't know what's wrong with people today

Thankful Bank Liberty no longer has my loan. They took my monthly payments, which were auto withdraws/payments, applied two payments to multiple months, and then claimed I wasn't making my payments. It took me over a year for them to make the corrections. This caused me to pay for documentation from my previous bank to show the dates of auto pays, etc. Once they admitted fault, they never removed the late pays from my credit report (which they swore they were not reporting them to the credit bureau).
Now I am presenting all of this with the new loan/banker owner to remove the late pays from my account! Will never understand how laws allow businesses to ruin your credit like this!

I have been a customer with Metcalf Bank for almost 1 year. In that time, they have provided excellent customer service. My only issue is that they do not make it easy for you to transfer money between separate accounts. When I was with Bank of America, they made it very simple, but with Metcalf there are several different things you have to do.
My fiance and I do not share a checking account. We each have our own, but we need to have the ability to transfer money to each other. When we asked Metcalf about this feature, we were told that we could open a joint savings account and transfer money from our checking accounts to the savings account.
Problem is, they did not inform us that, legally, we are only allowed to transfer a maximum amount of 6 times per month. We need to make transfers much more often than that, and as a result, our savings account was closed because we were going over our limit.
My fiance talked to a customer service rep and we were informed that we could open a joint checking account and transfer to and from that, so at least the problem was resolved. I just don't like how difficult they make it.
Other than that, I've had zero issues with Metcalf.
