Busch-Smoke alarm
Danger !

Intended use
The device responds early and reliably to smoldering fires and open fires with
smoke.
Avoid situations in which the device is subjected to draught (open window and / or
ventilators).
Use only the specified type of batteries..
Do not dispose of used batteries in the household waste.
Defective lithium batteries must not be sent via air freight. For other
types of transport the regulations 188 of the ADR must be adhered to.
Do not paint the device.
Function
The smoke detector works according to the scattered light principle. It detects smoke
particles floating in the air.
Therefore, ensure that air can at all times enter the lateral slats of the smoke
detector unhindered

Installation
[G] Find the correct installation site. Before installing, remove any existing drilling
dust from the holes. Position the mounting plate and fix it to the specified
positions with dowels and screws
[H] Only for 6834-84
Connect the battery with the battery clamps to supply the device with power.
[I] Position the bottom section of the device on the mounting plate so that the two
markings directly face each other.
Only for 6833-84
The battery is automatically connected by turning the device on the base.
[J] Test
The smoke detectors must be tested immediately after installation. Press the
test button on every detector for 3 seconds to ensure that the detector functions.
Maintenance
At a later point in time the detectors should be tested at least once every month.
When the date on the label of the device has expired, the devices must be replaced.
After changing the battery, press the test button to ensure the device is working
properly.
False alarm
If the alarm is triggered for no valid reason, press the test, mute button. This
deactivates the warning signal for 10 minutes.
State of the battery
Only for 6834-84
When the state of the battery reaches a critical value the device 'bleeps' briefly once
every minute for at least 30 days. Replace the battery as soon as possible with a
new one.
Increased protection against disassembly (only in public
buildings)
[K] Break out the small bar with a suitable tool.

locked with a non-removable screw.

Busch-rookalarm
Gevaar !
Bij direct of indirect contact met spanningsgeleidende delen treedt er
een gevaarlijke doorstroming van het lichaam op. Elektrische schok,
brandwonden of de dood kunnen het gevolg zijn. Bij niet correct
uitgevoerde werkzaamheden aan spanningsgeleidende delen bestaat
brandgevaar.
– Voor montage en demontage eerst de netspanning uitschakelen!
– Werkzaamheden aan het 230 V-stroomnet uitsluitend laten
uitvoeren door een erkend elektrotechnisch installatiebedrijf.

Beoogd gebruik
Het apparaat reageert vroegtijdig en betrouwbaar op (smeulende) branden en open
vuur met rookontwikkeling.
Plaats het apparaat niet in de tocht (open raam en/of ventilatoren).
Gebruik uitsluitend de voorgeschreven batterijen.
Oude batterijen niet met het gewone huisafval afvoeren.
Defecte lithiumbatterijen mogen niet per luchtpost verzonden worden.
Bij andere vormen van transport moet het speciale voorschrift, nummer
188, van de (Duitse) ADR worden opgevolgd.
Het apparaat niet met verf beschilderen.
Functie
De rookmelder functioneert volgens het strooilichtprincipe. Daarbij worden in de lucht
zwevende rookdeeltjes gedetecteerd.
U moet er daarom op letten dat de lucht te allen tijde door de lamellen aan de zijkant
van de rookmelder kan binnendringen.

Montage
[G] Kies de juiste montageplaats. Verwijder vóór de installatie, eventuele bestaande
boorstof uit de gaten. Breng de montageplaat aan en bevestig deze met pluggen
en schroeven op de aangegeven plaatsen.
[H] Alleen voor 6834-84
Sluit de batterij op de batterijklemmen aan, om het apparaat met stroom te
voeden.
[I] Zet het apparaatdeel zo op de montage plaat dat beide markeringen direct over
elkaar vallen.
Alleen voor6833-84
Door het apparaat op de sokkel te draaien, wordt de batterij automatisch
aangesloten.
[J] Test
Direct na de installatie moeten de rookmelders getest worden. Druk 3 seconden
op de testknop van elke melder om zeker te zijn dat de melder functioneert.
Onderhoud
Het wordt aanbevolen de melders minstens eenmaal per maand te controleren.
Na het verstrijken van de op het etiket van het apparaat vermelde datum moeten de
apparaten vervangen worden.
Wanneer u de batterij vervangt, moet u op de testknop om ervoor te zorgen dat het
apparaat correct werkt.
Loos alarm
Als het alarm zonder aanwijsbare oorzaak gegeven wordt, drukt u op de
test/stilzetten toets.
Batterijtoestand
Alleen voor 6834-84
Als de batterijtoestand een kritische waarde heeft bereikt, 'piept' het apparaat
eenmaal kort per minuut tenminste 30 dagen achtereen. Vervang de batterij
onmiddellijk met een nieuwe batterij.
Verhoogde demontagebescherming (alleen bij openbare
gebouwen)
[K] Verwijder de kleine tab met een daartoe geschikt werktuig door het af te breken.
[L] Op de in de afbeelding getoonde plaats kan de behuizing met een tegen
demontage beveiligde schroef aanvullend vergrendeld worden.
